Los Angeles, California –Pacific Southwest Container — the Modesto-based company that provides packaging to such industries as snack foods, high-tech and wine, while employing more than 1,000 people — has agreed to settle a wage-theft lawsuit filed against it for $2.3 million.

The lawsuit seeks to recover back wages for Walter Savinovich, who was a delivery driver with Evolution Fresh. The suit seeks class-action status on behalf of current and former employees from the past four years, which the filing says may include 80 people in California.
