Former Starbucks employee claims labor law violations in new lawsuit

Los Angeles, California –A former employee of Starbucks-owned Evolution Fresh is suing the Seattle-based coffee company for allegedly failing to properly compensate employees. The lawsuit seeks to recover back wages for Walter Savinovich, who was a delivery driver with Evolution Fresh. The suit seeks class-action status on behalf of current and former employees from the past four years, which the filing says may include 80 people in California.
